Deer season has a proven track record with 200 pound Boone & Crockett caliber deer taken from the lodge.  Deer season starts in September for archery, most of  November for rifle and through the first of December for muzzle loader.

Our area here in northern Maine offers some of the largest whitetail deer in North America.

Joe Fuster from Pittsfield, VT took this 12 point monster weighing 247 lbs.  The rack had a 20 inch inside spread scoring 155 1/4 Boone & Crockett
